How is rubber strip measured?
By width × thickness × length. For example, 25 mm wide × 3 mm thick × 10 m roll.
What length do I get?
Most strip comes in 10 metre rolls. Our 8 mm and 10 mm thick neoprene comes in 5 metre lengths.
Can you supply a custom width or length?
Yes, custom widths and lengths are available on request. Send us an enquiry or call and we will come back to you within 3 hours with a price.
Is self-adhesive strip available?
Yes. Self-adhesive neoprene and cork-rubber strip are available online. Ask us about adhesive backing on other materials.
Which rubber is best outdoors, or near oil?
EPDM is best outdoors, with excellent UV, ozone and weather resistance. Nitrile is best where the strip meets oil, fuel or grease. Neoprene is a good all-rounder.
How hard is the rubber?
Our neoprene, EPDM and nitrile strip is 65° Shore A, a general-purpose hardness that seals and cushions well. Clear PVC strip is 80° Shore A.
Do you supply natural, silicone or sponge strip?
Yes, to order. Silicone strip is in our silicone range; for natural rubber or sponge strip, send us an enquiry.
How quickly will it arrive?
Usually dispatched same day if ordered before 12:00pm and in stock, with tracked delivery. Cut-to-size items cannot be returned unless faulty.
