This heavy-duty stainless steel hanging rail is designed to support PVC strip curtains securely and safely above doorways and openings. At 984mm long, it’s ideal for standard-sized setups and can be paired with multiple rails for wider spans.
The rail provides a strong, corrosion-resistant mounting point for hook-on strips, making installation quick and reliable. Suitable for use in commercial, industrial, and cold store environments.

How to measure
A strip curtain is measured against the doorway, not the strip: measure the clear opening in millimetres, then allow for how the rail is fixed.
- 1Measure the clear opening width and height in millimetres.
- 2Fixing the rail to the wall above the opening? Add 100–150 mm to the width so the curtain overhangs 50–100 mm each side.
- 3Fixing inside the opening instead? Use the exact opening width.
- 4Allow height for the rail above the door, so the strips finish just skimming the floor.

How do I measure my doorway?
Measure the clear opening width and height in millimetres. If the rail is fixed to the wall above the opening, add 100–150 mm to the width so the curtain overhangs 50–100 mm each side. If the rail sits inside the opening, use the exact opening width.
Should I choose 50% or 100% overlap?
Choose 50% for internal pedestrian and light-traffic doors, and 100% for external doors, cold stores, windy locations and openings over about 3.5 m. Full overlap seals better but uses more PVC and takes more effort to walk through.
What is included in a door kit?
Pre-cut PVC strips and a stainless steel hanging rail system, for the width, height and overlap you choose.
Can I replace just one strip?
Yes. Individual strips are supplied fitted with a stainless steel hanging plate, so you can swap a damaged strip without replacing the whole curtain.
Will these fit my existing rail?
Our strips are supplied with stainless steel hanging plates compatible with recognised curtain hanging systems. If you are unsure, send us a photograph of your rail and we will check.
How do I clean them?
Wipe both faces with a soft cloth, mild detergent and warm water, then rinse and dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and strong solvents, which can cloud or degrade PVC.
Why are new strips curled?
They have been rolled for storage and transport. Once hung they straighten out over a few days.
